CoLab: Agile Furniture for Learning and Collaboration

I was pleasantly surprised by what I saw at NeoCon 2023 when I discovered CoLab by Senator. It’s a fantastic example of agile furniture done right.

As Senator describes it, “Rooted in research into emerging models in higher education, CoLab, designed by Pearson Lloyd, offers workspaces and institutions a versatile modular furniture system that empowers shared learning and collaboration.”

The beam system is impressively versatile; it’s modular, can be powered, and connects seamlessly with various enhancements. There are also useful accessories, like collaboration easels, that make it perfect for agile spaces dedicated to learning, socializing, and teamwork.

One of my favorite aspects of CoLab is its simplicity and clean design. It doesn’t feel heavy or bulky, and its reconfigurable nature makes it easy to support a range of functional needs and learning & communication styles. Plus, it optimizes space efficiently—ideal for maximizing real estate potential.
